Whenever I hear arguments or emotional debates over the death penalty, the argument is usually more about taking the life of someone who may be innocent, rather than ridding the world of fucked up evil killers. Yes the judicial system does get it wrong and unless guilt was 100% proven I would also have concerns about executing a person.
But in cases like Martin Bryant, Julian Knight and Peter Dupas, just to name a few. I would enjoy witnesses such executions. In fact I would gladly even pull the trigger if required. Men like these three are not going to rehabilitate. In fact if released will take further lives.
So for all those that think life is too precious to support the death penalty - (in these type of cases) stop being hypocritical as the future murder and torture of innocent victims are the lives we should be protecting and holding as precious.
